Day 47 – Valentine Romance at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa

The brochure tells it all: Tucked away in the heart of Temecula Wine Country lies South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, a destination rooted in the traditions of wine making. Find yourself in the sun-drenched vineyard amidst the tranquility and beauty of the valley.

This was the introduction to this amazing resort that my girlfriend and I made plans to visit on Valentine’s day. We started our journey with a one hour scenic drive from San Diego to the city of Temecula. What a beautiful drive!

This only whet our appetite for what was to come when we arrived at the resort and checked in at the registration desk. Our Valentine package included:

-Overnight Stay in Luxury Deluxe Villa with Jacuzzi, Fireplace, and Private Patio
-Scrumptious Mimosa Breakfast for Two
-Comp Bottle of Wine in Room
-Tasting Flight for Two

Let me first start with the villa. In a word, astonishing ! I had a vision in mind from the pictures online, but the experience went way above my expectations. It started when I opened the door to the villa, I immediately felt I have just entered a place feeling so positive, harmonious and timeless, yes it was pure paradise. Rich fabrics and natural stone decor, custom dark-wood furnishings, a relaxing extremely comfortable lovemaking bed, a romantic fireplace and a soothing Jacuzzi tub. And a peaceful terrace tucked away in the vineyards, made for a truly memorable Valentine’s day.

The experience of the wine tasting room is what gives this Southern California resort its unique finish. This state-of-the-art winery is surrounded by 38 acres of its own carefully tended vines. From grapes produced by the rich Southern California soil and ample Temecula Valley sun, over 100 award-winning wines line the walls of this warm & friendly tasting room. I choose the Great White Wine Flight and my sweetheart choose the Red Lover’s Delight flight. The wines truly pleased our palates!

After a romantic, candlelight dinner, it was time to enjoy the ambiance of the villa and each others company. It was time to celebrate the love we have for each other!

Making Love is more of a state of mind than just a physical feeling or act. It’s when a couple that is in love are showing one another how much they love each other through sexual contact and making sure that each of them are wanting and making sure that they fulfill their partners wants and needs mentally and physically. By the end of the great moment both lovers are totally mentally and sexually satisfied. Making love is in no way a one-act during the love-making session. When a couple makes love they are both totally satisfied mentally and physically, knowing that their thoughts and acts were to please the other and not thinking of their own pleasures. When two people Make Love it is full of Passion, Romance, Pleasure and LOVE. It is definitely second to nothing.

So, today I am grateful for the love in my life. And the romantic experience we shared at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. We are planning a return visit real soon! For those of you who may be interested, here is their website: http://www.wineresort.com
