Day 175 – While the World Waits For Your Greatness

Today, I had so many thoughts running in my head that I decided to bring them together to create this poem. For I am grateful for the ability we have to share our powerful thoughts with others.

While the world waits for your greatness,

The beast within you grows stronger,

Daily life get cluttered in meetings,

And the days that pass grow longer.

For the best is yet to come,

Yes, we’ve heard this before and been told,

Don’t give up your dreams and desires,

When you’re so close to reaching gold.

After all, we are strange human beings,

What we do, and what we think,

The places we go, the people we see,

The thoughts we have in our head, sometimes they stink.

We are here today and gone tomorrow,

As we look for love and battle the fears,

Dealing with situations of life and death,

Finding out nothing is important as it appears.

While the world waits for your greatness,

Time has passed that you never get back,

A life was born, and a life has passed,

What are you waiting for, it’s time to act!
