As I awake on the this beautiful morning in San Diego, my first inclination was to check my Gmail and Facebook to find out if I received any comments on my previous blog posts. I thought they were good, in fact, some of the best work I had done. But to my dismay, not only did I not receive any comments, but no likes as well. Well, my first reaction was, “I don’t get it”. I mean, I make time to write my best work and nobody seems to notice. Wtf? Then I thought, well if no one is bothering to read my stuff, than I should save myself the time and not write any more blogs.
But what am I really doing? The answer is clear. I am simply giving in to my inflated ego that needs to feel this recognition. My ego says more views equals success that leads toward developing more ways of generation income in my life. And with the added income, I propel myself to reach a life of financial freedom to enjoy all that this great Earth has to offer.
Ask yourself: Does money really stop me from living the best life I can at this moment? In one word: NO. Because we control our emotions that tell us when we should be happy or sad. If we realize how grateful we should be right now, for just the air we are breathing, than an emotion of love and gratitude will emerge. But if we feel pity for ourselves, and for the things we don’t have, then misery, depression, anger, and sadness will emerge.
What is your choice?
My choice is clear. I choose the high road, because when you open up your heart, you allow your true self to shine. And the more you feel better about myself, the more you help others. This is what changes your life from ordinary to extraordinary.

Let’s face it, money is a necessary evil. You need it to get the things you need to survive (food, shelter), and things you want (vacations, material things). But how you handle your money says a lot about who you are. I think it’s the way you use money that can bring you happiness — not how much of it you have.
